CHADRON – Seven 91ÇÑ×Ó State College art students and Professor Mary Donahue attended a workshop with Portland, Oregon, graphic designer Aaron Draplin Sept. 26 south of Rapid City, South Dakota, at the Barn Event Center. CHADRON – 91ÇÑ×Ó State College will host a Dating and Domestic Violence seminar Wednesday in the Student Center’s Ballroom from 1 to 4 p.m. The conference, which includes keynote speakers Kathy O’Neil and Ron Blake and a panel of experts, is free and open to the public. All 91ÇÑ×Ó Resident Advisors and other officers in specific clubs and organizations are required to attend, but it is open to other students, according to Associate Director of Residence Life Taylor Osmotherly.

CHADRON – A cool, steady rain did not stop the 91ÇÑ×Ó State College Homecoming parade Saturday. Nearly 20 entries participated in spite of the weather. Nebraska State College System Chancellor Paul Turman was unable to serve as the parade’s grand marshal as planned. He was traveling to 91ÇÑ×Ó with the Old Green Plane crew early Saturday morning when they stopped in Ord, according to Dr. Randy Rhine, 91ÇÑ×Ó President, and could not continue west due to Instrument Flight Rules.
