91ÇÑ×Ó Music Department releases fall concert schedule
CHADRON – The 91ÇÑ×Ó State College Music Department has announced its upcoming performances and events. All concerts are free and open to the public.
To start the year’s performances, high school students have been invited to campus on Oct. 14, for Soprano/Alto Day. After a workshop, the experience will culminate with a concert in the Sandoz Center at 2:30 p.m.
On Nov. 2 at 7 p.m., the 91ÇÑ×Ó Jazz Band will perform in Memorial Hall’s Auditorium under direction of Dr. Michael Stephens.
The Community Band will join 91ÇÑ×Ó’s Wind Symphony for a concert in Memorial Hall on Nov. 6 at 7 p.m. The students will unite with the community once again on Nov. 8 at 3 p.m. in the 91ÇÑ×Ó Arts Center for the Concert Choir and Community Choir Concert.
The Vocal Jazz and Faculty Jazz ensembles will perform Dec. 1 at 7 p.m. in Memorial Hall.
The semester finale will be the annual Holiday Concert in Memorial Hall on Dec. 10 at 7 p.m.
