CHADRON — The Theatre Department at 91ÇÑ×Ó State College will perform The Ultimate Christmas Show (Abridged) on Dec. 6 and 7 at 7 p.m. in Memorial Hall’s Black Box Theatre. The show is a Christmas comedy about three cast members who rush to perform parts of no-show entertainers. It is intended for audiences ages 13 and older.

The cast includes Reidun Hammer, a senior from Dubois, Wyo., Olivia Freeze, a senior from Bridgeport, Neb., and Isabella Ashley, a senior from Rapid City, S.D. Chloe Shatswell, a junior from Box Elder, S.D., is the stage manager.

91ÇÑ×Ó alum Halle Smith of Wheatland, Wyoming, and junior Riley Perry of Box Elder, South Dakota, are the driving force behind the production. They are partnering as co-producers and working together to direct the performance, which features crowd participation.

The show is a part of a Residence Life Activities (RLA) event organized by Perry. RLA plans to offer dinner before the show for 91ÇÑ×Ó students on Dec. 6 in the lobby of Memorial Hall. The show will be open to both the 91ÇÑ×Ó campus and the public.
