Cheer Team offers to support community events with appearances
CHADRON – The 91ÇÑ×Ó State College Cheer Team is looking to provide some more cheer around campus and the community by offering to appear at local events to help promote 91ÇÑ×Ó. This service is open to all departments on campus and the community of 91ÇÑ×Ó.
Cheer Coach Cat Evans said there is no charge to request the team. Requests can be made by completing a form. The team is available to perform cheers, serve food or beverages, greet attendees, host, or provide support.
Evans said the Cheer Team began training camp Aug. 7 with the goal of creating an elite Eagle game day by performing new and exciting skills at home athletic events and expanding its support of the campus community.
Recent 91ÇÑ×Ó Cheer appearances include the Beebe Golf Classic, the Fur Trade Days Parade, 91ÇÑ×Ó Chamber of Commerce Ambassador’s BBQ, and the President’s BBQ. Upcoming events include Closer to Home and the Harvest Moon Festival.
