91ÇÑ×Ó hosts mental health art exhibition
CHADRON – 91ÇÑ×Ó State College will host an exhibition about mental health awareness, Re-bound: New Beginnings, in Memorial Hall’s Main Gallery Tuesday through Nov. 12. Terri Haynes, Educational Service Unit 13’s Advancing Wellness And Resiliency in Education project manager for 91ÇÑ×Ó Public Schools, partnered with 91ÇÑ×Ó art faculty to schedule the free, public event.
Re-bound: New Beginnings is the latest installment of an annual traveling art exhibition organized by the Cirrus House, a Nebraska Panhandle organization focused on helping those with mental illness.
According to Matthew D. Reese, youth transition worker with Cirrus House, the exhibit focuses on fresh starts and second chances through community, personal growth, and the quest for mental wellness.
