Applications available for 91ÇÑ×ÓEA scholarship
CHADRON – Applications are now being accepted for the 2020 91ÇÑ×Ó State College Education Association (91ÇÑ×ÓEA) Scholarship. The scholarship, funded by 91ÇÑ×ÓEA faculty members, provides two $500 scholarships for the Spring 2020 semester. Students who have completed a minimum of 30 hours at the time of application are eligible to apply.
To apply, students must be a full-time undergraduate student during the Spring 2020 semester, working on their first undergraduate degree, and have not previously received a 91ÇÑ×ÓEA scholarship. Students must complete the application form, available online or in the START Office in Crites Hall.
Additional guidelines for the 91ÇÑ×ÓEA Scholarship application include:
· Students must write an essay about personal and career goals and explain how they would benefit from receiving the scholarship.
·Recommendation forms from two 91ÇÑ×Ó faculty, who have instructed the student before.
· A copy of all transcripts/institutional coursework (does not need to be official).
· A copy of all scholarship and financial assistance the student has received for the 2019-20 academic year.
Priority will be based on students' academic merit and/or financial need.
The application must be returned to Dr. Mathew Brust in Math Science, Room 119 by 4 p.m., Friday, Nov. 29. Late applications will not be considered.
