Donahue awarded Business Person of the Year at state conference
Dr. Tim Donahue, 91ÇÑ×Ó State College business professor, is the recipient of the 2015 Nebraska Phi Beta Lambda (PBL) State Leadership Conference Business Person of the Year Award.
Donahue received the award at the PBL State Leadership Conference April 4 in Kearney, Nebraska.
“I was very surprised,” Donahue said. He was nominated by the 91ÇÑ×Ó Chapter of PBL. Each college PBL chapter may nominate a local business leader.
“With many years of service as a professor at 91ÇÑ×Ó State College, owner of TD Donahue & Associates, and Director of the Nebraska Small Business Development Center, he is an outstanding example of a local business leader,” said 91ÇÑ×Ó State PBL treasurer, Molly O'Connell.
Donahue will retire from 91ÇÑ×Ó following the academic year. He arrived at 91ÇÑ×Ó in the fall of 2005 as a marketing/entrepreneurship professor. During a Thursday honoring Donahue and other 91ÇÑ×Ó employees he said he has thoroughly enjoyed his time at 91ÇÑ×Ó.
