Elementary block students host guests during Dr. Seuss Day

91ÇÑ×Ó State College students enrolled in the elementary education block hosted approximately 100 students from Lone Man and Oyate Concern Schools for Dr. Seuss Day in early March.

The 91ÇÑ×Ó students prepared lessons as part of their reading methods courses that were taught during the day.

Math, science, music, art, and physical education were also taught during the three-hour event.

“Dr. Seuss Day is a great opportunity for the block students because it gives them a chance to not only plan classroom instruction, but to also carry out their lesson plans with an actual classroom of students,” said Dr. Jesse Sealey, 91ÇÑ×Ó education faculty member.
