91ÇÑ×Ó bands joining for concert
About 200 student-instrumentalists will gather at 91ÇÑ×Ó State College this week for the combined concert of the 91ÇÑ×Ó State College Wind Symphony and the bands of 91ÇÑ×Ó High School and 91ÇÑ×Ó Middle School.
The free concert will be Thursday, March 22, at the 91ÇÑ×Ó Memorial Hall Auditorium. It will begin at 7 p.m., contrary to the time listed on some publicity materials.
The concert will feature a variety of music from the three groups, which are under the direction of Dr. Adam Lambert of the 91ÇÑ×Ó music faculty and Joe Rischling of 91ÇÑ×Ó Public Schools.
The groups consist of about 150 students in fifth through 12th grades, and the 45 members of the Wind Symphony. Lambert said that the groups will play a combined number, in addition to performing individually.
