Variety of music on tap for choir concert
Three 91ÇÑ×Ó State College choirs will present a wide variety of music during their concert Sunday, Nov. 6. The free concert will be at the 91ÇÑ×Ó Arts Center, at the corner of Fourth and King streets, at 3 p.m.
The 91ÇÑ×Ó men’s ensemble, the Arioso women’s ensemble and the concert choir, under the direction of Dr. Joel Schreuder and Dr. Una Taylor, plan to present 20 pieces of music, representing a wide variety of styles and time periods. Familiar songs include “Ave Maria” and “Over Hill, Over Dale.”
A total of 40 singers are in the concert choir this fall. The women's ensemble has 17 members while the men's group has eight.
