Student diagnosed with tuberculosis
Health officials diagnosed a 91ÇÑ×Ó State College student with a case of active tuberculosis disease Friday morning.
91ÇÑ×Ó students and employees were notified of the case via e-mail midday Friday.
“We are working with health officials on this issue and placing the welfare of the patient and the 91ÇÑ×Ó community as a top priority,” said Dr. Randy Rhine, 91ÇÑ×Ó vice president for student services. “We appreciate the support we have received from the Panhandle Public Health District and other health officials.”
