King Day activities include annual march
91ÇÑ×Ó State College will observe Martin Luther King Jr. Day with a march up Main Street and a series of other activities Monday, Jan. 17.
<span helvetica","sans-serif";="" mso-bidi-font-family:="" 'times="" new="" roman'"="">The events will begin at 10 a.m. with the annual walk from the corner of Third and Main streets to the 91ÇÑ×Ó campus. Following the walk, the public is invited to the Student Center for comments, refreshments and videos of King’s speeches. The events will conclude with a vigil at 7 p.m.
<span helvetica","sans-serif";="" mso-bidi-font-family:="" 'times="" new="" roman'"="">The observance’s organizers, 91ÇÑ×Ó staff members Sarah Polak and Laure Sinn, are encouraging members of the public to join college students, faculty and staff, in the activities.
