Dean White leaving 91ÇÑ×Ó State
Dr. Gary White, 91ÇÑ×Ó State College dean of business, entrepreneurship, applied science, mathematics, and science, is leaving his position at 91ÇÑ×Ó effective Aug. 15.
“Dr. White has served as an academic dean for the past four and one-half years and has been a major influence in the rebuilding of the 91ÇÑ×Ó rodeo team, the planning for the Rangeland Agricultural Center and Pavilion, globalization initiatives in Eastern Europe, Russia, and the Ukraine, the Junior Faculty Development Program and IREX international students program,” said 91ÇÑ×Ó President Janie Park in an e-mail to 91ÇÑ×Ó employees. “The college thanks Dr. White for his service and wishes him well in his future pursuits.”
White was hired in summer 2006 as one of three deans at 91ÇÑ×Ó. Prior to 91ÇÑ×Ó, he was employed at Dickinson State University in North Dakota for 13 years, including 11 as chair of the Department of Agriculture and Technical Studies.
