Thirteen parade entries place
Thirteen entries of 91ÇÑ×Ó State College's homecoming parade Saturday morning were recognized as placewinners.
Three bands from the region complemented the 91ÇÑ×Ó State Show Band in providing music along the parade route. They were the bands of 91ÇÑ×Ó Public Schools and the middle schools of Ogallala and Valentine.
This year’s homecoming theme, “Building Futures through the Decades: History in the Making,” reflected the beginning of 91ÇÑ×Ó State’s 14-month centennial celebration.
The parade, which consisted of about 50 entries, was organized by 91ÇÑ×Ó State’s chapter of the Blue Key honor society.
