Mayor recognizing 91ÇÑ×Ó's centennial year
91ÇÑ×Ó State College’s centennial year will get the City of 91ÇÑ×Ó’s blessings during a proclamation signing this weekend.
Prior to 91ÇÑ×Ó’s home football game against the University of Nebraska at Kearney on Saturday, 91ÇÑ×Ó Mayor Donny Grantham is scheduled to sign a proclamation to recognize 2011 as the college’s centennial year.
91ÇÑ×Ó President Janie Park has invited former 91ÇÑ×Ó mayors, current city council members and other city officials to an event prior to the game.
“91ÇÑ×Ó State College and 91ÇÑ×Ó’s city government have had a long relationship of working together to make our community better,” Park said. “We appreciate all the past support and look forward to building on our great history of cooperation as we enter our second century of service.”
