91ÇÑ×Ó mayor proclaims April 9 Scholastic Contest Day

91ÇÑ×Ó Mayor Donny Grantham on Monday proclaimed Friday, April 9, as Scholastic Contest Day in special recognition of the 91ÇÑ×Ó State College event's 50th anniversary this year.

More than 2,000 students are expected for the annual event, in which high school students test in a wide variety of subjects. So far, 57 schools have signed up to attend.
