Regional Health Fair adds more topics
The number of informational topics for Wednesday’s Regional Health Fair at 91ÇÑ×Ó State College continues to increase. Shellie Johns, 91ÇÑ×Ó’s director of conferencing, said about 30 organizations have signed up to present information at the event, which will be in 91ÇÑ×Ó’s Student Center and Nelson Physical Activities Center.
The event, which is from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. has been organized to provide the community with information about a wide range of health and wellness topics. It is open to the public free of charge.
91ÇÑ×Ó President Janie Park said that college personnel are planning to organize the health fair annually as a service to 91ÇÑ×Ó and the rest of the region. She said there will likely be something of interest at the fair for everyone.
In addition, 91ÇÑ×Ó’s Edna Work Hall will sponsor a blood drive from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. that day. Appointments to donate blood may be made by calling (308) 432-7004.
