Health Professions Day is Wednesday
About 280 high school students from throughout the High Plains region will be at 91ÇÑ×Ó State College this week to learn about careers in the health professions.
91ÇÑ×Ó's annual Health Professions Day will be Wednesday, Oct. 1. The event will begin with registration at 8 a.m. and end with campus tours at 2:30 p.m.
The high school students will have the opportunity to listen to 11 presentations three sessions. The presenters will be area health professionals and representatives from 91ÇÑ×Ó and the University of Nebraska Medical Center.
In addition, 91ÇÑ×Ó health professions students will tell about their experiences and answer questions during a panel session.
