Faculty Lounge making debut
The Faculty Lounge, a jazz combo featuring 91ÇÑ×Ó State College faculty members, will make its debut off campus at 8 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 7, at Wrecker's Roadhouse in downtown 91ÇÑ×Ó.
The quintet plus singer plays jazz and Latin standards and features Dr. Joel Schreuder, vocals, Dr. Michael Stephens, saxophone, Dr. Adam Lambert, trumpet, Dr. Sandy Schaefer, drums, Jim Margetts, piano, and Jerome Vogel, bass.
"Rehearsing with this group has been great fun. We are fortunate to have such a versatile faculty at 91ÇÑ×Ó State,” Schaefer said. “Even though I've taught at colleges that are five times larger, this is the first time I've had a faculty jazz group.”
