Art Day draws 70 to 91ÇÑ×Ó State

About 70 students from seven area high schools attended Art Day at 91ÇÑ×Ó State College on Wednesday. Schools represented at the event were Bayard, Bridgeport, Gordon-Rushville, Hemingford, Kimball, Mitchell and Morrill. The students participated in three sessions of hands-on activities presented by 91ÇÑ×Ó art faculty members and students.

91ÇÑ×Ó State personnel who presented workshops for the students were Nancy Sharps, watercolor, Laura Bentz, printmaking, Don Ruleaux, silver point drawing, Mary Donahue, graphic design, Richard Bird, photography, Silas Kern, glassblowing, and Melissa Todd and Carrie Rentfro, ceramics and pottery.
