- Played in 28 games for the Gamecocks in his first season in Garnet & Black ; averaged 1.8 points, 0.9 rebounds and 0.5 blocks in 7.1 minutes per game
- Had five points, four rebounds, two blocks and an assist in the team’s opening game of the SEC Tournament vs. Arkansas (March 12)
- Scored a season-high nine points with a rebound and a block in a home win over Arkansas (March 1) ; went 2-for-4 from behind the arc and logged a season-high 18 minutes played
- Had a pair of blocks vs. No. 13/15 Texas A&M (Feb. 1)

- Older brother, John Jr., played at Florida State and currently plays for the Capital City Go-Go, the Washington Wizards G-League affiliate
