AWARDS/HONORS

2024-25

• Played in 28 games for the Gamecocks in his first season in Garnet & Black ; averaged 1.8 points, 0.9 rebounds and 0.5 blocks in 7.1 minutes per game
• Had five points, four rebounds, two blocks and an assist in the team’s opening game of the SEC Tournament vs. Arkansas (March 12)
• Scored a season-high nine points with a rebound and a block in a home win over Arkansas (March 1) ; went 2-for-4 from behind the arc and logged a season-high 18 minutes played
• Had a pair of blocks vs. No. 13/15 Texas A&M (Feb. 1)
• Hit a pair of 3s and finished with six points in a win over Virginia Tech (Nov. 27) in the third-place game of the Fort Myers Tip-Off
• Made his Gamecock debut in the season-opener vs. North Florida (Nov. 4), finishing with three points

PRE-SOUTH CAROLINA

• Spent his freshman season at Missouri in 2023-24
• Played in 31 games for the Tigers, making 14 starts
• Averaged 2.3 points and 2.0 rebounds in 11.4 minutes per game
• Had his best game of the season at Ole Miss (Feb. 17) with 10 points (4-of-7 FGs) and five rebounds

PRE-COLLEGE

• Four-star prospect and a top-150 player that was ranked No. 2 in the state of South Carolina
• Played five seasons at Chris Church Episcopal School with his father, John, serving as his coach • Helped lead the Cavaliers to a pair of state titles in 2021 and 2023
• As a senior, averaged 21.4 points, 9.8 rebounds, 3.4 blocks and 1.2 assists per game
• Was the 2023 Class A State Player of the Year and was selected to play in the Carolina Classic All-Star Game
• Two-time all-state and all-region selection, averaged 11.0 points and 7.0 rebounds per game in his five prep years

PERSONAL

• Son of John and Casie – has an older brother John Jr. and a younger brother Josh
• Born on June 20, 2005
• Mom played basketball at South Carolina from 1997-00 ; was a two-time member of the SEC Academic Honor Roll (1999, 2000) and was a member of the 1999 SEC Community Service Team ; she played in 60 games for the Gamecocks, averaging 4.6 points and 2.7 rebounds per contest
• Older brother, John Jr., played at Florida State and currently plays for the Capital City Go-Go, the Washington Wizards G-League affiliate
• List chicken alfredo as favorite food
• Two favorite movies are Black Panther and Lion King
• Favorite player to watch and learn from is Anthony Davis
• Advice to young people is to stay the course ; you’re on God’s timing, not yours
