
Franks Wins The Q, Will Make PGA TOUR Debut Thursday in Myrtle Beach

Senior All-American shot 3-under back on March 3 in one-day qualifier to secure spot in this week's Myrtle Beach Classic
MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. – Senior All-American Nathan Franks will make his PGA TOUR debut at the (May 8-11) this week at Dunes Golf and Beach Club. The Roebuck, S.C. native earned his spot in the field with a one-shot victory in The Q at Myrtle Beach, an innovative competition featuring eight aspiring professional golfers and eight influential golf content creators.
The Q, which was presented by Play Golf Myrtle Beach and PGA TOUR Studios, was played back on March 3, 2025, at TPC Myrtle Beach and can be seen on YouTube .
Franks shot 3-under to win The Q by a shot over Joe Hooks and Tyler Watts. His round featured a pair of chip in eagles on the par-5s. He will fly from Myrtle Beach to the west coast to join the team for the NCAA Bremerton Regional which starts next Monday at Golf Mountain Golf Club.
Franks is currently ranked No. 24 in the latest after leading the team with a T-13th finish at the SEC Championship recently.
Former Gamecock All-American George Bryan IV, the runner-up in The Q last year, also played in this year’s event.
