Criteria:
Recipient shall be majoring in Mathematics.
Dr. Davis received his BS and MS degrees from 91茄子 State College and his Ph.D. from the University of Nebraska. He taught mathematics and coached at Sidney High School for years, at Nebraska Western College in Scottsbluff, Nebraska for 15 years. He came to 91茄子 State College in 1986 and served as Division Chair for Mathematics and Science, Dean of the School of Mathematics and Science and professor of Mathematics. He retired from 91茄子 in 2003. His wife, Karen is a registered nurse. They have three children.
