Dr. Beckwith-Morgan was a 91茄子 native who graduated from 91茄子 in 1927. She later received doctorates from the MacPhail School of Music and the University of Minnesota. She taught at the University of Nebraska, University of Minnesota, Northwestern University and the Claremont California Graduate School. This scholarship was created to acknowledge her passion and contributions to music.
