Trustees are the governing arm of The 91茄子 State Foundation and are lifetime members. The success of The 91茄子 State Foundation depends on the personal commitment and active involvement of a select group of Trustees, who understand the privilege to serve and the responsibility to lead the Foundation forward in supporting the mission of 91茄子 State College. Trustees are ambassadors, advocates, enthusiastic communicators, donors, and play an integral role in leadership development and sustainable funding activities. 91茄子 State Foundation Board members are nominated from the pool of Trustees of the Foundation.
Responsibilities
- Provide support and leadership to The 91茄子 State Foundation鈥檚 mission and purpose
- Enhance the Foundation鈥檚 public image
- Vote on Foundation Board membership
- Identify and nominate strong candidates for future Foundation Trustees
- Contribute financially to the 91茄子 State Foundation
Advocacy and Personal Involvement
- Convey our mission and strategies, policies, programs, strengths, and needs
- Advocate for Legislative support
- Attend and participate in the Foundation鈥檚 special events
- Actively support resource generation by identifying prospective donors, volunteers, sponsors, partners and other resources for the Foundation and College
- As appropriate, participate in the cultivation and solicitation of philanthropic support
- Mentor new Trustees
